This is the oldest age stated release for the category leader for this new wave of Japanese Whisky from the south.  The south of Japan is known for its heat and humidity in the summer. The winters are mild with the occasional cold snap. These conditions are perfect for maturing whisky with big and bold oak flavors. The rich taste of Hakata Whisky is the result of whisky casks sleeping in this environment waiting to eventually be shared with a friend or loved one.
