Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Peated The US Edition 2020 – Chichibu distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery. Founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, and operational from 2008, it was the first new Japanese distillery since 1973.  It is located at Chichibu, a city in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Only 2,109 bottles of this exquisite peated single malt were produced at the Chichibu distillery in Japan. The whisky matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-chibidaru, and sherry butts & hogsheads for 5 years before being bottled at 111 proof.
